FOI Request - EGM-2016-60071 Any communications and correspondence between Mount Polley Mining Corporation - Imperial Metals - and the Ministry of Environment, Chief Inspector of Mines, and the Ministry of Energy & Mines regarding a water discharge permit that was requested by the company for the Mount Polley mine in 2006, specifically: documentation that would include the original water discharge permit that was requested in 2006, and any subsequent communication or correspondence that might explain the delay in approving the permit – for example - any follow-up letters from either the company or the Chief Inspector of Mines or the Ministry of Energy & Mines to or from the Ministry of Environment with respect to the request for a water discharge permit, and any communications from the Ministry of Environment that might explain why the permit was not granted until 2012; any communication that would have followed a subsequent request for an amendment to the original permit.
