FOI Request - EML-2024-40225 Regarding the Climate Solutions Council, copies of any written response from the Climate Action Secretariat to the statement in the Climate Solutions Council’s October 12, 2022 email to the Honourable George Heyman that the Council is happy to work with the Climate Action Secretariat to ensure the Council’s advice can be integrated into the Carbon Pricing Review. For reference, the October 12, 2022 email is at: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/assets/gov/environment/climate-change/advisory-council/csc_carbon_pricing_letter_october_2022.pdf; any briefing material (including any PowerPoint slides, backgrounder or memo) that was provided to the Climate Solutions Council or otherwise prepared in relation to either of: the briefing (Briefing 1) the Council referred to in its May 11, 2023 email (May 11 Email) to the Honourable George Heyman. and any written response from either ministry to the email; any study, survey or other report or record regarding the bans in ‘close to 100 US jurisdictions’ referred to in the second paragraph of the September 15 email; a copy of the model, including any drafts, which was used to support the statement that ‘approximately 90% of British Columbians live in climate zones where electrification of new homes would result in cost savings’ referred to in the third paragraph of the September 15 Email; any written records between May 12, 2023 and September 15, 2023 related to changing the membership of the Climate Solutions Council; and any terms of reference for each of the Technical and Adaptation Committees of the Climate Solutions Council, if those committees have been established.
