FOI Request - FNR-2017-72950 Regarding the May 2, 2017 letter from Michael Dinney, A/Senior Project Manager, Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure to District of Saanich CAO Paul Thorkelsson admitting an encroachment on a 30 metre buffer between the McKenzie Interchange project and the Colquitz River, in which the letter stated - The ministry has shared this conservative riparian buffer with FLNRO for discussion. FLNRO indicated “We have few concerns with the minor discrepancy between what was stated in the Notification and what was measured in the field; no further compensation/site rehabilitation is required”: Documents relating to the communications between the Ministry and FLNRO about this issue, including the document containing the above quote attributed to FLNRO.
