FOI Request - FNR-2021-12505 Excluding records available via the LTSA/LTO and the BC Archives, all records related to the transfer and survey of BC Crown Lands, now known as Lot 1822 but originally referred to as Lot 1. This lot was an island at the mouth of the Coquihalla River until the 1950s/1960s, when it became part of the mainland the course of the Coquihalla River was possibly altered to develop the Hope Golf course. As well, all records related to the transfer of this land from BC to the municipality of Hope in the 1960s for the purposes of a golf course, now the Hope Golf Club. Finally, all records relating to rip rapping and other work done on the banks of the Coquihalla which may have altered course of the river in its final two kilometres.
