FOI Request - TRA-2021-15278 Follow up to TRA 2012-00345 and TRA 2021-14422 concerning road work on Lower Nicola IR No. 10, now called Nooaitch IR No. 10: We are looking specifically at the Spences-Merritt road/highway from 1932 to 1959, and at any kind of work undertaken by the Ministry and its contractors. From the initial releases, which revealed some additional file numbers, this includes the following files from the 1930s, which we would like searched more thoroughly for material relevant to the Ministry's work on the reserve: District files 40-90-36, 40-20-44, 40-20-63, 40-21-21, and 40-0-55. Note that these files refer to work done from a base at a DND camp at Dot, BC, which is on the northern boundary of the reserve, so please search for related files. For the 1940s and 1950s, please search the files above as well as any files that refer to PROJECTS 711 and 925 and ‘all [related] files [said to be located] in the Merritt office’ In addition, for the 1950s, please also search Regional Files R2-21-2, R2-41-20-2 and District Files 41-20-44 and 41-21-7, file 11677 (Kamloops Right of Way Agent), and Location Engineer file L.5.
